Panini with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and basil pesto

Ingredients

  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Tomatoes
  • Basil pesto
  • Mayonnaise sauce
  • Freshly ground black pepper.

Preparation

  1. Cut mozzarella cheese into slices.
  2. Place the panini rolls on the grill pan and fry a little to make the grooves.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on both sides of the panini.
  4. Arrange mozzarella cheese alternately with tomatoes on the bottom part and spread with basil pesto.
  5. Place the other half of the panini on top. Lightly press and bake on the grill or in the oven at 180°C for 5-8 minutes (or until the cheese melts).
